Scanners

Hi, I've been living off of my roommate's scanner for the last school year and I now have to purchase my own.

I would just like to ask anybody out there for any suggestions as to what quality of a scanner I should get.

I will basically be using it to scan in sketches from my sketchbook, and certain tightened up sketches for CG.


Any suggestions would help.

If you don't need mad quality print res perfection I'd suggest one of the cheap Canon Lide jobs. If it's just for scanning sketches that you'll be colouring you can't really go wrong for 30/40 quid.

If you do need utter perfection at crazy resolution ignore that and wait for pros to comment.
