    the rendering is nice, but...
    i am having real trouble envisioning these two figures together.
    even if its a "montage-effect" you are going for,
    they seem too unrelated.
    the 168-thing is her shoulder, right?
    where is the rest of her?

    i would reasses the clarity of your illustration.
    if your objective is not clear, the nice rendering just gets lost.

    I agree with DS. It's hard to read what's going on and the really cartoony guy doesn't fit with the Mangaesque chick. When I first saw it I thought that "shoulder" was a gun pointing at us. The coloring style and effects are pretty cool though. Perhaps just focus more on the sketching stage and you'll be set. I know a lot of times I get excited to move onto the final, just plan some more.

    The styles dont blend together, but the illustration and design of the peice is very nice

    yep that is really in my mind ' my intention' i dont want it to be clear i dont like to put more details' my thinking is to put some smoke effects or some lightning thunder etc, to cover up some of its blank space' to other guys i appreciate your comments thank you cheers!
