    some portraits

last couple days. ive been trying to practice figure drawing, but i always go back to portraiture, which i dont know if its a good thing. im pigeon holing myself into a specific position? if i wanted to get in the field. whereas if i practiced other things, i would be able to have a broader range of jobs to search for... so the questions is, be a jack of all trades, or master of one?

    well whatever. thanks for looking.

omg, look at the gradient detail and the hue control, lovely saturation of skin, they fall into the section "eye candy"

Those are really nice portraits, my favorite is this http://www.jimiyo.com/may2005/randin_superstar.jpg and http://www.jimiyo.com/may2005/five_pootrait.jpg the eye in the second link is just beautiful.

The pope portrait looks interesting, but doesn't feel very detailed. The super man one's color is too saturated in my taste.
