hm I don't understand what you're trying to say. Are you saying that I'm stealing art? My god then this would be the most unbelievable comment I ever had. That hurts, cuz I hate art thiefs. But I will asume you didn't accuse me I love to draw and there's a difference between a realistic portrait and a quick sketch. So what's the problem? Why would I post my realistic portraits here in a sketchbook thread?

wow dellie! those are great!! I love the softness to the rendering. It portrays how much you love your work. so gentle...Well any way. What else do you do?
I hope you post much more. I make a teentsy weeentsy. I would add more contrast into you image. Keep your soft strokes those are gorgeous, but go in with like a 2 or 3b and just push those shadows in or on the oupil of the eye. it would perfect you.. I hope to see more of your work so. Got my eye on you.

    Welcome to CA!

Good start to the sketches. Only recommendation as of now is no thumbnails and try to keep your images under 800x600 resolution for the dial-up members and such.

Really like your facial features. I feel that those and your elephant seem to be your strong point, although the elephant's right eye is higher than its left!

What some people consider a sketch, others may consider a masterpeice! The sketchbook thread isn't strictly for sketches and doodles as you'll notice a lot of the great sketchbooks have completed work! And I'm sure he's not calling you an art thief, but the copyright does make it seem like you're a little paranoid... besides, do you have the real paperwork behind the copyright?

Good work, strong start to the sketchbook! Welcome again.

    thanx Ian

Oh on the others forums people get a bit irritated when I post drawings (like in no thumbnails) but hey it's okay, no prob!

About that copyright, yeah but I have had a person who once claimed a drawing of me to be his and I have caught some art thieves on Devart. recently there's one discovered on Ebay, making cards of your drawings, with her/his name beneath it and selling it.... sorry for the paranoid
oh the eleephants eye? I'll try to look better next time to get right proportions, thanx for the advice!

Hey there... Very nice sketches. I really like the way you render. My fav's are the elephant and the close up of the nose/mouth. Very well done. Keep posting....
