PHATandy - glad you liked it. Not for anything really - just wanted to practice composition in terms of story beats.

Biomecha_wolf - I'll try to remember to save stages next time.

Kambei Shimada - I freelance for a few different game studios.

Everyone else - thanks for the kind words!

Just a couple of quick values studies after a long day of work...

Hey man, your stuff is incredible. I seriously don't know how you do that, it's ridiculous. Are all those b&w thumbnails straight from your head?

Could you please share a little bit of what goes through your head when you start? Cause I don't even know where to begin with that kind of stuff. I feel like I have a decent grasp of drawing from life, but when I'm faced with a blank piece of paper I'm lost. Do you work from memory of what things look like, and things that you've drawn? Or do you work more from construction, of what you know things are supposed to look like?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

OmertA - Thanks man. I'm sure I'll do some mechs soon enough. Just exploring other areas at the moment.

Icecold - Yep, I try to have fun with the process and hope it shows through.

bandaidboy12 - Yep they are from imagination. Everyone gets intimidated by a blank page so just start scribbling away and kill the white of the canvas. I tend to work from memory whilst I'm painting so I don't break the flow but I absorb all kinds of reference while I'm not painting. You have to build up a mental library. If you don't know what something looks like just google it and study it.

    MattGamer - Cheers bud.

bubblesaw - just study and you will

    Eiki - Cheers!

    SnobbyOo - Thankyou

Kan Muftić - Thanks Kan. Personally I'd start from scratch using it as a value guide. Looking at it now though the values are a mess but it was just for fun anyway.

    Traveler - Thanks!

    Jonvier89 - Thankyou

    Bendragon - Cheers man

    Pixie Trick - Thankyou

trevor - you'd be very welcome

    vshen - Cheers

    Krato - Thanks

MattGamer - Thanks again! I don't think I'll finish it. I was just amusing myself.

    surus - my pleasure

Absoulutely stunning work, and a huge inspiration to myself, i would like to ask you to have a go at using the free software ALchemy. I think you would be able to create some amazing things by using this tool with photoshop and Painter!
I hope to be the best i can be... nothing less
