Andrew, I just went back and looked at your first Daily sketch on cgtalk (Number 61), and I'm amazed at how far you've come in such a short time. What clicked for you?
The latest sketch is spectacular. The subtle lighting makes it look modelled.

The progress you've made over the last 5 pages is amazing and totally inspiring. You are amazingly skilled and judging by the progression, seem to have an excellent sense for work. I love it!

Im really enjoying your use of overlays. They seem to be used fairly rarely in most digi paints, but as seen in yours can produce a pretty dramatic effect and feeling of realism. The idea that someone could actually use that armour is rather debatable, but it sure as hell looks like it kicks ass![]()
BADASS.
The last two are cool cool as hell, they look like 3d models. Great pose, great textures.
Awesome work man.
Keep postin'.
Cheers
Damn!
Those last two are so well done. Would you happen to have process pics of them? If not could you show us some whenever you make the next one?
Thx

Wow! I realllllly like what I'm seeing. Great stuff, sir!
jesus these paintings are amazing I thought I iked rust textures a lot, as Bernard Matthews would say boo'iful, love your doodles too great swinging curves, been told to try that myself, I'm way too scratchy.
Thanks guys - glad you like them. I'll be putting up tutorials when my site is ready. At the moment the only free time I have for this stuff is after midnight - thats why all my posts are around 2-4am.
Anyway just a quick painter sketch for now, but I might do a full render of this later.

Whoa, nice paintings, dude. That texture is ridiculous. I'd be interested to see some step by steps of that. Great stuff. Bring on s'more!
Those latest robot paintings are fucking insane! Both in design and technique. I'm pretty impressed by the range of your work, you seem to be able to handle organic and machine elements with the same flare. Nice work.
Your stuff is Re-donk-ulous.. yes... i said 'donk'.
I hate you soooo much... HATE!!
and by hate.. i mean love... and by you... i mean your stuff..
