Hey,
i don't if your serious about drawing and hope to have a job in this field one day...but if you are, focus all your energy on life drawing and perspective... get a grip of the fundamentals and then worry about the digital side of things. Having the enthusiasm to draw is one thing but knowing what to draw is another.
I say this because when i starting drawing i focused all my strength on Anime/ Manga, when in fact i didn't know anything about anatomy, perspective, gestures etc. Sorry if this sounds like a speech, just trying to give u some insight into how easily foundation artists can stray from what they should really be studying.
Hope this helps.
He's right. The single most important advice I've found around here is to know your fundamentals. the more you learn... the more this other fancy shmancy stylish stuff comes out.... naturally.
