Congrats on the wedding!! Grand time.

Excellent Zbrush3 sculpt. I so want to do things like that, but haven't had time to sit down and play with it. Really good work, man. Seriously and hot new avatar. ;]

I love monkeys. Whenever I see a monkey or see people draw monkeys, it enthralls my creative juices. Though, I would never want a monkey to live with me. I don't like changing an animal's diapers. I'd rather change my own spawn's diapers than an animals any day.

    Cheers!

i immediately thought of george bellows before you mentioned it, so that's good ^^ the second piece is the weakest IMO, the figures seem too awkward around the neck.

I love your line drawings---especially the heads from Once and Future king on the first page. Simply wonderful work! You've given me something to work towards as far as my own progress. Thanks for sharing!

cheers hp. i plan to do more of them, i agree about the second one: i nearly did not put it up as it was weak but i try and be fairly warts and all about my sketchbook!
viking raider: thanks so much: i LOVED that book!
some art! all sorts really. i am enjoying the victory girl piece and there is even a traditional media piece in here: i am trying to get a better handle on acrylics (stay wet pallette has changed my life) I went into town and took some photos of distinguished looking gents. this chap is the first of many i hope! Glad to be getting back towards my fine art roots a bit!

Hey man, seeing your work in every CHOW has been pretty sweet, and after seeing this most recent one, decided you sketchbook needed a thorough browsing. You're getting better at the technical elements, and you're studies and thumbnails are kicking ass, so not much to crit, an enjoyable book to look through.

Hey! When did you do that 'confusion demon' pic? It's great! I think you should do more in that style. Carry on.

hey! you need to update your title of your sketchbook! ^^ I'm one of those ppl who don't look inside until the actual owner posts in it...

your last update is really cool, the japanese style painting is nice. not sure about the colors though. the spaceship port - just make sure you watch your persp on the ship, it's off but you can prolly fix it quick using the perspective tool.

I would like to see you mix up the curves with some straight lines you know what I mean? It will actually make the curves feel even better by contrast I think

    yep....

love the girls mister, been running around the country abit on my new royal enfield bullet and like most things I have it happens to break down a lot. HA HA. Been putting my studio together and once I get that sorted I will come up and visit. Maybe even you can come down for the day, now that's a thought hey.... I tell you something though I wish I didn't sell that bloody helmet as all I got is this old 70's yellow open faced number and every time I go riding I must eat a roast dinners worth of bugs and god knows what.. all the love in the world to you mister.
P.S I sparyed the petrol tank black as soon as I got it.

couple more little bits. some experiments with a custom brush: interested in line quality with this one. Second thing is a doolde-sheet. I did this over a few weeks and basically just doodled whenever i was waiting for stuff to load at work etc. hope you enjoy!

    Sweet update!
That doodle sheet is a great idea to do. It looks like a carnival of characters and the different styles of them make it interesting to look at. The lunch speedies are nice, especially those trees in your #327 post. I am beginning to wonder if you are eating with one hand and sketching with the other to get these things done during lunch hehehe Keep sharing!

P.D: Oh yeah, what happened to the Batman sculpt? Did you finished it yet? Just wondering.
