Hey, I'm starting up on Winter Break, which means I'll have a bit of free time on my hand. The plan is to draw until my hands whither away and my eyes start to bleed. I was hoping to have some people to motivate me and be in a position to return the favor. I haven't posted too much on CA mainly because I haven't gotten around to buying a scanner for myself-I won't let that get in the way (I'll have a scanner in Michigan for the next month). Could I get into a daily sketch book support group?

Edit- Also, does anybody use AIM? (In my SSG). It'd be easier to tell people to comment/post art or arrange OC-sessions or stuff like that with something like a chat program.

I'm kind of regretting the whole challenge thing, because it did none of the things i wanted it to do. I wanted to show you that spewing out bullshit like "i'm the greatest", "im a thunderdome champion", "I'm better than everyone else" and so forth isnt really worth it in the long run. It may give you a temporary satisfaction of some sort, but as long as your words have absolutely NO footing in the truth, It wont last long. The point of the SSGs is to LEARN from each other. I read a lot of your comments before challenging you, you didnt give any good critique, and didnt recieve crits very well at all. In fact, you didnt even bother to reply to what people said in your sketchbook, you just posted new stuff.

I wanted to humble you, and to make you realize that your art isnt that good. There's nothing wrong with that, since there's always the possibility for improvement. But if you absolutely refuse to realize that, you're gonna have a tough time improving, you're just gonna repeat the same mistakes over and over. If you plan on having a carrer in art, i suggest that you start listening to what people have to say, and actually take their advice. I hope for your sake that you will grow up, and start communicating on a more mature level. Because even if the anonymity of the internet gives you the possibility to act like a complete fucktard, you should keep in mind that you're communicating with real people, and applying the same social rules you would if you were talking face to face with that person would help a lot.

This site has the best fucking community on the internet. The things you can learn from the people here are pretty much endless. If you want to waste this opportunity by trolling, and having a retard attitude, feel free. But you're gonna regret it when you grow up, and actually want to improve and learn things vital to your trade. Because if you keep alienating people because of stupid shit that doesnt even matter, and convincing everyone that you're a retard and firmly refuse to change that, this WILL come back to bite you in the ass when you need advice or want to communicate with those members in a meaninful manner.. In the worst case scenario someone will find that you are not a good contribution to the community, and therefore ban you. I really wouldnt want that to happen to you, because deep down i believe you have both the will and ability to improve. (both your art and your behavior.)

This thread is all about SSG. Its here to help people find a sketchbook support group. I suggest that you stop posting things that doesnt contribute to this end. Your "We're better than you" attitude, and repeated dirt-throwing at the other ssgs doesnt really belong here, and i believe it might discourage new users.

I dont really give a flying fuck about the challenge anymore. If you wanna change your avatar and sig back, its fine by me, in my eyes you will still be an idiot until you convince me otherwise. And if you change it back, i dont think anyone would ever wanna do a serious thunderdome with you if you're just gonna ignore the stakes afterwards. Even after defeat you still claim to be champion, and you still think that your shit dont stink. CA is (atleast for me) about learning, making friends, and networking, and in this respect this site is a very very valuable resource. Many people on this site are very much respected, but these people have EARNED their respect through hard work. I can understand your need to be respected, or even noticed, but there are no shortcuts to this. Pay your fucking dues like everyone else. Your attitude this far have given me this mental image of you as a retard that runs into a wall, falls over, get up, laughs, then runs into the wall again, and repeats this over and over.
