    Illustration/Charakter

    Hi,
    i'm new at this forum and i want to know what can i do, to make my charakter's better than this one here. please write down some suggestive critique.

    Its one of my first charakter.
    I am strained what you mean about my first one...

    (sorry about my bad english *hehe* - i'll be better soon)

    ok: here it is...i hope i do anyhing right to put my charakter in here....

    Try to study anatomy...specifically, the character's hands look off, as do the arms - especially in their length. The ear is too far up, and the face looks flat. The folds on the flag are also really off...I found some pictures that may help you out, though!

    Remember to pay attention to what is tugging on the flag...because its weight will pull it down, and the flag is attached to the top of the pole, there would be fold-lines coming from the pole, going diagonally downward on the flag.

    It looks like you have the most fun when working on the smaller details in the drawing. That’s cool, nothing wrong with having good details. However, for the drawing to really take off you need to first nail down the basic structure and proportion of the figure you’re putting the details on. Maybe next time try a few gesture drawings to find the proper framework before you jump into final drawing.

    ...at first, thanks for your crit.
    it was my first charakter and i'm going to make some anatomy studys... and its true that i like many details. but you've got right johanson with your post about my drawings!

    i hope the next one's will be better....
