Wow, this vector work entirely? If so... my mind just exploded like an A-bomb.
Crit: wheres her legs? I dont care what fabric she has for legs... light sabers emit enough glow that they would show... even some resemblence to a background behind our evil character here. Thats it for now...
Good work!

This is very cool. Colors are awesome and I love the composition as well. Your style is tight. The only thing I might personally add is some different colored light (bright blue) glowing on the right side of his face. Just something to draw my eyes to his face a little more. Right now, the red of the lightsabers draws my eye. But trust me, this is minor and doesn't mean I could do this at all. I love it. It would be so cool to have a poster of this for my son's room. Hell, for my room too![]()

I dunno, I can't see any sign of a wall or anything where light would reflect on so you can safly assume the artist meant no background surface in this illustraton
THumbs up....
My one crit is the arm further from the viewer...it's bit over exaggerated...looks uncomfortable to actually do that...
Very nice.No more to say.

it's too bad they killed off this character right away. Dermont Power's design was just so sweet, they should have kept it to episode 3![]()
OH well. Sweet cover manj. Dunno about the over exageration of her left deltoid area, but I suppose it makes it look more dynamic.
Think the best part here is how you captured the character perfectly. Very nice, post more![]()
Evil: You're right... I was merely making suggestions of what I thought might make the image better. All art is opinion as far as I'm concerned. Everyone here can take or toss the ideas and contributions people share on this forum. To me... its overly black. We're looking down on the character so you would think there might be some flooring. As far as a skirt goes... I'm sorry but a skirt WOULD show from that kind of light source. Like I said though... this is all opinion. If I offended someone, that was not my goal.
Great work. Very inspiring.
I think a background would add to it more.

Crit: Too masculine in appearance. Too much definition in the physique especially in the arms. The left front shoulder, it is too pronounced. Should make it flow into the arm more.
Ass kiss: But nontheless excellent job you really have a feeling for gendy's animation style. well done

Very cool. I would recomend not to add a background because it would take away from the guy with the sabers. It looks good now, it has a cool cartoon network style. What did you use to make this?
dont forget its really awsome.
fun stuff, Samurai Jack meets Star wars. I'm with Eric the Great, what did you use to make this? I want to know how.
This is 100% vector done in Illustrator CS :
I started with a quick sketch on my Wacom -

And then built the image on top of it in illustrator with Flat Colors -

And then added all the gradients / hilights / Sabre glow etc.
Thanks for all the crits and complements - I appreciate it.
I am doing a series of these to take to San Diego as a Comic Cover Portfolio.
I will post the first one I did as well . . .
This was the first one I did ---

More coming soon . . .

Huh you're right on the money with that one. Genndy Tartakovsky (from Samurai Jack) is directing the series for Cartoon Network. You can watch the episodes with or without commentary on starwars.com hyperspace zone.I can't wait to see season two !Originally Posted by FatMike
As ColdKodiak said, I was delighted they decided to use this character in the end, even if it wasn't in the movie. Finally a female that isn't in fucking distress all the time.
Innfusor, I love your take on it ; It's right on style and I love the changes you made to her face (I didn't say it was off model!). Don't change anything and make more of them ! I now have a new desktop image and I'm sure it'll be verrrrrry popular around here![]()
That Batgirl cover is very, very cool. Only one thing you might want to change. If you plan to show this to DC, you should take out the indication of nipples on Batgirl. I don't think they'd be too keen on that. But who knows. Otherwise, I love that straight on shot of Batgirl's face at the top. Very striking and graphic. Just the kind of thing that would make me pick up the book if it was on the shelves. Great work man!
Jeff
ooh.. the batgirl covre is tight!! I like your choice of colors. I am all in favor of nippleshowing.. hehe, but miracola is probably right about not showing them.
