i haven't been feeling very inspired lately. whenever i try to draw, i just draw a blank (no *bad* pun intended) or i end up drawing the same crap over and over. so i ask you, where do you get your ideas and inspiration?

sometimes i wonder if i'm some kind of supreme being and the world exists only because i want it to
Just practice stuff like anatomy or if you're painting, setup your own simple still life and study from that. IMHO u dont really need a big inspiration unless you're planning on doing a serious piece so just STUDY and PRACTICE! I'm not a professional so I dont feel that Im at that level where I can execute a good work of art so I spend my time preparing for that.
Just scribble on a page. Make random shapes and sometimes you'll see shapes start to form and get inspired. And other times you'll see nothing, but at least it's better than staring at a blank sheet.

you've got to find inspiration wherever you can.
a lot of mine comes from the books i read, the music i listen to, and just plain old life. it's all out there, you just have to go grab it.
Hey dog. . . . did you see the size of that chicken?!

just look at this. and pray.
I listen to a lot of music - film scores especially, but also some hardcore, rock-type stuff and, um, techno
Also I think watching movies helps too (at least, for me hehe), it just depends on how you feel. As the others have said, look at some art books and practice, or let your pencil/pen/stylus/whatever roam the page.
