Welcome to CA Great start, I'm glad the drawing has alot of contrast, too many beginners tend to stay in the 'safe' areas of gray shades.
I hope I can improve my style this way, so c&c is always welcome
At this point you really shouldn't be focused on developing a style, it will hurt your progress more than anything. What you should really be concerned with are the basics. For instance, what if a man wanted to draw a super complexed and detailed drawing, but couldn't draw a decent circle? Learn figure drawing, anatomy, perspective, shapes etc. A GREAT link you should check out it http://saveloomis.org

    Welcome to CA!

First quick critique: on the hammer on the first image, the perspective looks wrong to me, as if it's on a different spacial plane compared to the hand and arm. It's really throwing my off, but I think what's doing it is the end of the hammer. Try to adjust where the handle meets the end or rotate the head some.

I'm with Dan1989, Loomis and Bridgman are great guys to study from (Bridgman for the technical side, Loomis for taking the technical and turning it into something interesting!)

Work on that and don't worry about your style, it'll just show up eventually, and if you spend too much time on it now, it is true that it will hold you back from progressing.

Again, welcome, and keep it up!

    first of all thanks feeesh
In the past I had lots of problems with clothes and exspecially the folds.
It took quite a time for me to get it right, I was always searching for a book, that could teach me drawing folds, but I didn't find any, so I had to learn it on my own. I spent lots of time looking at people's clothes in the subway and tried to remember the folds. Searching the internet and browsing my comics helped me, too.
And a big thx for your comment on the Hellboy head
I'm addicted to the comics and to Mignola's style and since I know the comics I spend a lot of time drawing Hellboy heads.

I'm sorry for replying so late, but I hardly find time for drawing, because I have to learn for my final exams.

    this one's for you feeesh:
my very first colored Hellboy I think^^
very quick sketch, but I like it

    I'll perhaps finish it later

I also tried to do something about my flat heads

hey, don't worry, you'll get older, you'll get experience, you'll get better
This forum here's a great place to learn tecniques and other stuff. Just look at what and how the others are drawing and learn from what you've seen.

the usual stuff... heads and unfinished armed guys...

me trying to work with perspective... and it's a car... you can almost recognize it... lol

same with colors... should use them more often...

    last but not least

for all those, who wondered, how my avatar looked like in full-size

    that's it so far...

perhaps I'm gonna post some photos of my "Facharbeit" (a boardgame) when my teacher doesn't need it anymore and I get it back...

    long time no posting...

well I got lot's of stuff to do... exams (almost done), looking for some place to study and so on...

The time I had for drawing I used to go back to my roots which means drawing fantasy stuff and vikings (I watched "the 13th warrior" that day)

    some warrior

I found an old sketch which I quite liked, so I thought I could work it over a bit
