That whale-ish creature rocks! Next time we meet I'm gonna have to hear more about that world of yours! The rendering is very strong, as well as the concept.

Hello, Perre. Wonderful illustration, all of them. Don't even know which one is the most dear, don't want to offend others, but well the second, third and the last one are the most appealing to me. Wonderful manner to talk inn this drawings, so elegant and simple. Forms are not complicated but they talk, you know. all of this effect in very pleasant way, lovely lines, vertical, endless trees, tiny harmless figures of people, awesome trees roots, soft lighting. Pure beauty. It was a pleasure to see, thanks. I saved them for myself.
I like your new anatomy study very much, very impressive and you finally went with less muscular figure. I appreciate the gentle shading, counted about 6 shades of grey. you added more contrast. And I like these still lives studies, look great.
Thumbnails are very interesting, I tried to understand the principal you talk about few posts ago about how to make the composition work, what is necessary and what is too much to be present in picture. If you can I would like to hear your thoughts about it, it works in your images.
See you, hope you are doing great.
Sveta, worldwide famous and loved by everyone she hugged once and for eternity. I can knit and sew too. Can you? Eh?

sve: Glad that you liked them sve my friend. Something about the forest ain't itDamn, tried to come up with a good answer for you but no. Don't think about much other then what to keep in focus and not to get to messy in the composition. There are many ways to get the focus on the most important thing in the image, but what it comes down to is contrast just to make it stand out in diffrent ways. Don't think I'm helping...
Anyway, thanks for those kind words. And just so you know it I can... rather I COULD knit and sew
Flaskpost: Thanks. Yeah... color...
hurricane: Thanks bro.
maxetormer: Hey there my crazy mexican. You warm my heart![]()
Light is teh shit, have to study it more.
Qxzi: Thanks. That's a complimentYeah I have to get started working digital. We'll see how I'll do.
Oki: Thanks.
Yoonjin: Haha. Thanks man. You need to post more
Bob.Razowsky: Ducks for world presidentAnyway, thanks for the kind words. For the textures, I just played around in photoshop until I found something intresting. Playing with contrast.
I've had much these last two weeks, haven't had much time to draw either... and that sucks. Just have to get into the habbit again.
I graduated a few days ago. Got a small scholarship... guess the money will go to paint and other materials.
So I got pretty much the whole summer for myself to cut the lawn and draw... what a combination

Hello, Perre and good bye. I see you in July. Make me proud with excellent drawing your heart out and with speckless lawns. Think more about rules on constructing compositions, OK? that should be some rules. I will be watching too, maybe I'll catch it faster than you, but I doubt, you're already ahead. Yours are great.
In this update everything looks great except the faces, still very tense. I'm amazed actually at this sudden effect. Everything is fluent and free and effortless looking and then I see the face horizontally placed and I feel how your lines slow down and start to look alert and cautious.
Do you look at people faces a lot? I'm starting to get impression that you prefer not to look at them. Maybe you nearsighted? Or the different faces and later their outlines would float up in your mind, and then it will just happen that you hand will bring it to life, itself. I think you already have this, breakthrough is near, freedom to draw the faces subconsciously. Hope I don't sound like a know it all, I don't of course. But keep drawing them, and look more at faces.
Anyway you have a lot. and these last few months, such a beauty and gentleness and your own soul look at me through your art. You opened up somehow and your drawing just like open flowers, clouds me with sweetness of your soul . I'm serious btw, Perre, I can see you in your art.
The first drawing especially beautiful. You will be laughing but this flowing forms and shapes you noticed somehow in nature, they remind me human forms so much, really striking. And because of that, a nature in this image is erotic, it was pristine before, with your huge light vertical trees, a bit straight forward. Now is it sly and whimsical, and very ambiguous. Really, this forest has a soul of beautiful sly woman.
Sketches from life is gorgeous, really wonderful, in my opinion perfect images, The dogs in the glass, the slide, birds, daffodils, rocks, hills, glasses, bicycle. all lovely and alive and I love them dearly. I would love the illustration like this in some book. Shadows are short, very precise for the sunny day, really shows where sun stays in this hour when you drew, I think middle of the day. The brightness of the highlights and contrast tell me the same information. And theme is sweet too. Idle, long, lazy day, full of little delights.
Nice lines in concept.
Your portraits, despite they look very stiff and tense, there is mood in them and similarity too. Although nobody would call you Sweden angel looking at these portraits, more like an opposite. Somebody locked up from society in room with no windows for other people's and his own sake.
.
Nice oil studies, especially I like how you use highlights, really make the colors glow in the first painting.. And I never saw anyone using the oils in these way, you didn't mix colors a lot and they look very clear., shadows are actually clear color. interesting.
OK. see you, my Sweden angel, be with me on my trip, OK? just in case.
