: A sketch of a local soldier
: Big temple Guardian, an avatar of the gods. Controlled by saccrifices done by the priests.
:Quick sketches for some other Avatars.
: Another quicki, this one of the city.
hmmmm FIRST ! bwahahahaha j/k
Well lets see...hmmmm well you seem to understand something about muscles but the overall figures are a bit out of shape...proportionaly-wise...
you might work on this.
I like the Monster Tempel-Guardian.
Interesting Face. But technicaly your first one is your best.
Maybe get a bit darker with your values or use a wider range of them...
keep this updated so we can see you improve![]()
Thanks, I see what you mean. I'm constantly trying to work on my anatomy.
Didn't put so much work into the last few sketches...
Thanks for the c&c. Always something new to work after![]()
Your monster drawings are really cool. I really like the shading on the first one. Just work on proportions a little. otherwise great stuff
Time to post some of today's sketches.
Did some anatomy sketches, tried to follow some advises...

Today's work.
Some of today's anatomy work. I'm trying to do some every day...
![]()
Here are a few, not all are from today...
Cuz i've been really sleepy all day![]()
![]()
Here are some of today's...![]()
Here's a drawing of my english teacher.
She's kinda big and I figured that such a big body had to have a function then to bore the pupils.
Maybe she's just waitning for us to fall a sleep on her boring lessons.
Just so that she'll have the chance to grab us with one of her tentacles... she's must be hidding those tentacles some where, maybe she camoflage it as fat...![]()

Today's drawing.
i'm pretty happy with how it turned out, i'd like some crit on it.
![]()
Did some anatomy sketches from a anatomy book.
I still need the critics everyone is holding back![]()
Hey pencilator looks like your not lacken on the creativity ethier haha ha you got loads of great stuff here. Those anatomy studies are excellent keep doing those they've helped me alot and as far as the imaginitive stuff goes just keep rockn them and applying what you learn with your studies (which it looks like your doing, it shows in your last creature there) and they are going to kick arse.
btw thanks for the visit to my sb, now it is I who will be keeping an eye on you![]()
Later buddy and keep up the awsome work.
Ok it's time for another update... to bad for all of you (ok, some of you) that i've been so tierd today, but I amnaged to do something anywayJust to make everybody happy (read: me).
Ink_Monkey: Thanks, that's so nice of youWe'll just have to keep our eyes on each other then.

the belly looks like its coming out from som other place. look weird =P, ceeping your eys on each other! and you call me a queer! =P
if i have C&C your work it should be most polite to C&C my work that would make me very happy
Lookys work
Looky: Well, I wanted to give the stomach very round and hungry feel :/
Ok I give up it looks a bit to round.
For you I can be![]()
Ok, time for today's crappy update.
I'm kinda grumpy today and so what...
Some shity stuff from one of my classes.
Arm studie from anatomy book.

Returning the favor: To many pics to crit all or a single one. General observations; The anatomy studies look great, do some with foreshortening for extra challenge. The concepts are certainly innovative. what they lack is a sense of form. They look more flat than the anatomy studies. Perhaps try to add shadow to them? (look who's talkin..) Use strong sunglasses to protect against english teachers hypno-gaze.
Wow, you have great stuff here. I think some of your creatures should be used in games like DOOM3 - the monsters used are boring, yours are just Co0L and CraZZy !!!
Keep it on guy!![]()
MFG Fló (even if you don't know what MFG means ;0) )
its good to see u doin anatomy sketches and producing a lot of work! keep it up!!
Thank's guy's i'm really happy for all the comments. Feels great
carnalizer: Thank's mate. Sorry to ask, but what do you mean with "foreshortening"?
As you can see i'm trying to work more on the shadow's, it's great to really complet drawings for once![]()
I'm trying to avoid her gaze, she almost made me fall asleep today
FL0: Ey! Thank's for the comment, made me feel proud of myself
It doesn't mater if I know what it mean, it sounds good atleast, and that's all that counts
rodrigo!: I really needed that, thank's mate![]()
I believe foreshortening is a fancy way of describing how perspective affects something, body parts mainly:
This is tricky business (had to do the top arm three times..) but essential to creating dynamic poses. To clarify about the shadows; your sculptural light is pretty good. I was talking about cast shadows, the kind that "falls onto" something. Like on the small teddybear sketch. It creates depth without being very complex. If I'm not making sense we'll do this in swedish later![]()
carnalizer: Thanks, it you made it a whole lot clearer.
The worste thing is that you got a point there![]()
It was very nice of you to make a drawing for this.
I'm very happy for that crit. I'll try to work on it.
Hey carnalizer, this one is for you.
I've been thinking on your robot designs all day (almost). So I just had to draw one myself. Hope you like it mate![]()
PS. I think I lost focus some where In the middle of the drawing![]()
Here is today's anatomy study, I think I should try to draw on my proportions instead, I've done maybe to many arm study's for now (if one can work to much on anatomy)
![]()
Nice robot! I like the way it looks like some organic humanoid with armor fused onto him. look at machinery or other robots to get inspiration for details. Details make them look larger generally. Feels like your robot wants so bad to be a mean, big killing machine but the artist drew him from a birds eye view so it looks like a toy on the floor instead. ;-)
The exhaust/vent on the leg is a nice touch. The feet are not drawn in the same perspective as the rest. Start with some perspective lines to make it easier.
Thanks carnalizer, you pionted out all the things that I was aware of (and some new) but I didn't want to see![]()
I'm having a hard time to get away from the organic feeling, cuz if you look at my stuff you won't find any robotic/industrial drawings.
I knew it was something about the feets, but I didn't see what it was![]()
Thanks for your time giving me a hard time... *erhm* critics I mean![]()
Ok, it was a very long time since I posted last, I've had holiday and been layzier then I use to be... Shame on me...
I've been drawing loads of crap this 5 days. Nothing worth showing anyway.
Here comes a few pices... I have had a whole loads of fun playing around with ink and watercolours. Hope you don't mind
![]()
Awsome stuff, man, those colourd ones are great! I really wish I could paint with watercolour.
Like the anatomy studies too, what book do u use?
Hej Tigermjölk.
Nice of you to take a look at my sketchbook.
I'm trying to keep the anatomy studies up, for the studies I mostly use George B. Bridgman's books, these are great. And for more muscle and bone studies I use The Human Figure by David K. Rubins.
Hope that made you any smarter.
And I can recommend Mentler's Anatomy thread here on CA to. He's great.![]()
Haven't had the motivation to post here in a while.
But here's some new shit!
![]()
like your ink but no prob with the colerd ones either
if i have C&C your work it should be most polite to C&C my work that would make me very happy
