Painter IX: How do I save brushes to a custom palette?

I'm a total beginner when it comes to Painter 9 and digital painting in general for that matter, but I seem to recall having read that there's some way you can save your favorite brushes to a custom palette, to easily access your favorites at any time, instead of having to dig through all the brush categories? How is this done? Any other tips or directions to good tutorials would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Here's where to learn how to create and use Custom Palettes:

Painter IX Help > Help Topics > Contents tab > A Workspace Tour

On the right panel, click Custom Palettes.

On the next page, read everything from top to bottom of the page.

Before you go to another page, or close Painter Help, click the Favorites tab. Then click the Add button at the bottom of the left panel to bookmark the page you just read in case you need to refer to it again.


Main, Important TIP

Read Painter IX Help > Help Topics beginning with the first chapter in the table of Contents and continuing until you've read through the whole thing. You won't remember everything, but it will help you get used to where information is located and also help you get used to Painter IX terminology.
