    S.P.O.d. feb 21

here is a saturated high contrast portrait for my homeboy Davi.

this last little series of portraits are a little booring on a conceptual level, please bear with me as I am experimenting with planes and flesh tone variation for my own learning purposes

I'm in agreement here as well. The colors are so rich and powerful. You should keep doing your S.P.O.D's with this mentality.

    android

another amazing piece from our beloved dr. jones.

andrew - how long do these typically take you?
    (this one in particular)

ive seen your speed paintings in other threads and was wondering if you try to speed paint your portraits, or if you just paint until youre satisfied.

learn on android. keep up the good work even if every so often there is a duller one. its all about learning. but you know that already. great choice with the up in contrast and saturation.

    phfaaaa...boring?
i mean i know what you mean..conceptually...but then you could suppose that upping your contrast and experimenting with tones and planes is conceptualization as well

simply beautiful, very appealing piece of eye candy art.
