Lovely shading and color. BIC pens have always worked nice to get clean shading. My only problem is your porportions and foreshortening, they're off, and its almost confusing

Man I'm going to have to go through hell to beat you in the thunderdome

Oh... poor demon that doesn't know that the pen is mightier than the sword

Hm to find something to nitpick about... must taunt you check out the knuckles on the demons left hand... looks like they´re between the fingers... you didn´t on his right hand.

Well I gotta practice some more

    see ya

the dudes torso is way too long, and he seems to have an inverted ass. work on anatomy. Also the demons hand, the one holding the crayon, is in a very awkward position, itd prolly be better in fron of his leg. also, the dudes cloak/jacket looks very weird. ott your shading is very nice.

hey, thanx for the views and the comments... When I was working on this I noticed that the perspective and forshortening on the demons hand/ arm was off... there really wasnt much i could do at that point having it rendered in pen. Also, the comment made about the hand being in an awkward position is true.... But, i thought if i put it in front it would have looked even more awkward.... Thats all part of the learning process right..!? And that whole ass thing.... i was driving myself crazy trying to figure out what to do with that and ultimately made he bad decision of leaving it alone.. theres always next time.. oh and mindflaw... Which hand looks better?? Or which one were you talking about?? The one holding the crayon?

heh didn't see that it was a crayon before you said it thought it to be the sheat of a sword...weird must examine my brain some day

anyway I meant the hand not holding the crayon. I thought it would be easier to explain what I meant with a pic
