First serious post here - grab bag of concept sketches

Just some stuff I was putting together for an aborted attempt at hasty portfolio building. Critiques welcome...I really want to improve my work here.

(Needs to be finished, but I'm pretty bad at rendering guns.)

nice level of detail my only comment wud be that the 3rd piece her right eye is out of place

cool stuff i really like the quality of y our linework- my fav. is that robotic looking thing- very unique

Were these for anything specific or as you said just thrown together for a portfolio?

omarpac - yeah, now that you point it out, the dancer's eye is a little crooked...I'll fix that shortly.

remedial - the only pieces that are designed with specific uses in mind are the Art Noveau-inspired swordsman and the harpy reaper. The harpy is a commission for a friend who wants it for a custom Magic deck, and the swordsman is sort of a test piece for a comic concept I'm kicking around. Though after drawing all that complicated filagre, I'm pretty sure I won't be doing *that* level of intricacy for the comic, if it happens.
