    Hi dizon

hey where is your nice paper texture in the background ?

good concept for the monster, how about making his first leg longer (more threatening)

nice portrait, (not much time on it , right ?) is it the same person your posted earlier

    cheers

Zou- Thanks for the suggestion, but I just finished it. I might change some things in the future but I'll give it a rest for now.

The portrait was only a quick sketch for warm up.

Noodle- Oh yeah! I forgot about the scale. Maybe I'll add it in the future. Thanks.

I decided to do some ships this time. I'm kind of a noob at this so I hope to improve in the future.

    Thanks for viewing.

Your quick sketch portraits are so, so beautiful. Sophia Loren in 156 is GORGEOUS...you were able to captures such a rich facial expression with very simple line work. Looking forward to future updates.

Courtyard- I will try to do more for you! I enjoy doing those too. Thanks.

Zou- Thanks! Glad you like the shape. That's what I was aiming for. I agree about how the pilot is supposed to see. The left side is actually the front portion. I'll try to be careful with the design next time.

A new WIP? Maybe? Maybe not? We'll see...

Hey nice textures on the last one Cool otherwise, but it looks a bit boring, maybe a stronger lightsource, or some color variation?

Update on the WIP. Refining and getting rid of the lines. I'm also trying to push my rendering as well by experimenting with different colors, but still focusing on the values. I'm liking it very much so far. I wasn't expecting it to be the way it is now. I'll also add clothing on this guy and also might change the head as well. I just want to have a good foundation to work on first.

I like the Troll/hulk guy. You might wanna push some of those values tho to make sure the lighting is described best. Great work altogether, too.

    Cheers

I feel like the new head is a step backwards. I think you lost a lot of dynamism and character removing it. That initial sketch, in the post with the porn (which is also pretty good ), is still the strongest one, I feel.

Thanks, Anders. I actually like the angle of the first head but the design wasn't working for me. Let me see if I can do something else.

    Glad you like the pron.

    good design and value.

i agree with hai for the troll, i think also you should concentrate on dynamism and pose more than muscles (yours are correct and that's a good point)

you can suggest some shadow of his legs just to show he's not flying

    Hiya Dizon

Thanks for poppin by with your helpful crit

Liking the updates, the last on I agree the head looked better with the first position, just because it felt more dynamic. Maybe having it look at the viewer to draw them in a bit? Am liking the progress on his muscles, especially his leg and shoulder.

p.s like the helmet design in #188 especially right at the top of the helmet, really nice loose details and blending. Would look good finished up.

I took a break on this guy, but I think I'm finally done with him. Sorry guys I tried changing the head but in the end I ended up really liking this one. I guess it's that paranoid/maniacal look on his face that I enjoy.

    Thanks for the crits!

#178; Nice creature. Spikes on the back are less saturated and detailed, but his tail in the far back isn't. Which I think looks a little awkward in terms of atmospheric perspective. Nice wet look on the legs. You may have gone into the detailing too early, at the front.
#182; You did some very nice things with the colours and texture. I liked the humanoid/creature blend, was looking forward to what you were planning with the weapon-arm. But a creature/creature is just fine. Teeth look a little 'soft', they're rendered like the skin.
#184; The real "metallic" feel may be missing, and perhaps the perspective isn't quite right yet, but the design is certainly there. Nice markings too. And fun to see vehicles from you.
#187, 188; Great portrait. Perhaps, you could have made the crevices between seperate plates thinner in the back of your images. For example on the sides of his head, you wouldn't expect to be able to look in between those armour plates.
#199; I'll try and add some different crits . Great expression. Head is 'behind' the shoulders, not sure if that was your intention. The back of his club is sort of blending in with the chest area. Nice going on those hands and muscles in general. Little question; are those some kind of markings on his shoulder? I can see some round shapes.

    Nice!

Like the Troll's head now you've dressed him, can see where you were going with it. I agree about the axehead blending in and I like the 'combover' hair

    Hi D

Nice pic! the colours are effective, like an old oil painting . I like her expression too, can tell she's had a hard life.

Just one thing I noticed is her nose slopes out a bit too far from her face. I reckon if you just reposition her nostril to the right a little more to nestle into her face, it'll probably make the nose look straighter without you having to repaint it.

The Chow's are fun aren't they? It seems to have picked up alot recently as well, competition is tough..anyway, good luck
