    Lightbulb More stuff from life...

Just some recent stuff. about 9"x12" for most of them. Feel free to comment on anything(positive and negative are both welcome )

    These are from 20~40 minutes.

    Forgot how long this took

This one took way too long in the cold wind and the rain...

Er... this one took a while. Just experimenting.

Mainloop - I have been struggling with likeness for a long while now. Can never get those shadow shapes right. I probably draw/paint too much from my head(which doesn't quite work...) instead of observation.

yeah its something thats taken me a lot of practice to get as well.. i try to focus mostly on the angles and shapes of the contours and shadow shapes, it helps a lot with getting a likeness down

Mainloop - Thanks for the tips.

Here are some more studies. These are 9"x12" Acrylics on Canvas board. About 40 minutes each.
