My girlfriend told me about this first. She said, a slipper brand used Andrew Jones's drawings on their packages. I just needed to see them. Then i took my camera and we went to the supermarket. Then i saw these:



man this is so funny! We laughed all the way back home! AHAHAH!
I don't know what to say Andrew. What do you think about this?
They use your drawings without permission but other than that, this is FUNNY! Slippers man! AHAHAH!

Jason - I just took the photos. They were in a supermarket. The brand is "Genesis". I have no further information. But if you want to have a pair, i'm going to buy you one and to Andrew aswell. But they aren't quality stuff. Anyway, ofcourse this is against the laws. I'm going to check for the brand information. ahahah....this is yet so funny...

Copyright infringement has always struck me as wierd. Like....not wierd as in the laws are bad...wierd as in sometimes you find your artwork representing the most curious stuff.

Whoever designed that packaging should be shot. Gotta love the Suicidal Tendencies font, and they elegently topped the whole thing off with a big green plastic hook. And of course those images just seem to lack the pink fuzzy slippers look. You would hope that if someone was going to steal artwork, they would at least give it a thread of respect and make it look good on the package.

What store was this at? If it's a common chain, let us know so we can all keep an eye out for this fine footwear.

I remember a while back an artist going around showing Dan Milligan's work as his own (amongst other artists). But still the company would at least be able to tell you if that was the case. Of course, if it's the compnay, that means bigger lawsuit money. Heh.
