it seems to do this only on some files(wouldn't you know...the most important ones)

when i open up certain files in either P6 or P7 and try to fill in a color on the canvas layer, it searches for the extent of the fill. and then i get prompted with this:

"CANNOT OPEN TEMP FILE"
"D\PAINTER.TMP"

i then click the only option it give me "OK" and the program shuts down. i can paint on layers, but sometimes if i ctrl Z it prompts me w/the same info.

anybody get this?
