    Waspbot and monster (CandC)

Hi, I'm new here. I wanted to show you concept guys some concept realted pictures I've done for my own enjoyment. Just to basicly introduce you to my work.

If you want to know who I am go here:
    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...=&threadid=322

The pics are basicly a robot based on a wasp. Scott Robertson told me I needed cast shadows to add more realism (strong light = strong shadows), and to make the clouds pass behind rather than mould around the bot.

I'm not sure if the wings are supposed to go up or down or actually spin or screw through the air.

These were done in photoshop with a wacom.

I found this second one harder to do as I rarely draw the same thing from a different angle. Something I have to do a lot more of.

    thanks

I like you painting style a lot, especially the monster. Are you going to enter the next thunderdome round? Keep posting, I would like to see more of your work.

Wow, the colours on that monster are awesome. The wasp looks great too, I like it as it is, no changes needed ;)

I like your work but i think your brushstrokes could be a little more refined. Keep the look - its great, just try putting more discipline into the strokes to make the picture more clear. Keep posting! Great work.

nice, i really like the style and the colours are yummy..

the secoond one looks a little strange, the head doesnt look like it is protruding as far from the body as in the first one. you might try bringing the head down a fraction.

    again, real nice stuff
