The colours are nice and there's a good sense of volume and space about him. I might want to see a bit more detail in the character.. some better polish could help him. The biggest crit is that I wouldn't have gotten the fact that he's singing if you hadn't said it. The mic looks kind of like a big lollipop, and with the child-like proportions, that's reinforced.
if the painting is supposed to be cute its probably to dark and to many shadows.
other than that i like it!
this is cooooooooooooooooooooooooool
i really like it
Heh, that's what I like about it, personally. The juxtaposition of the heavy shadows and the cutesy web-singer. Perhaps he is bursting into some sort of evil song?Originally Posted by Mort
The only crit I have is the highlights on the tips of the bottom fingers of his left hand. Everywhere else the highlights blend nicely into the pieces, but right there they look pixelated and really out of place. They draw the eye away from the head, which would be where I'd be focusing otherwise.
Hey..Thanks all for the kind feedback, that's what I need exactly.
Tully, you're right about the detail, I might have some work on it, Many Thanks for your kind crits.
Mort, yep, you're right about the shadow, that's because I want to have a sense of deep volume,.but hmm...maybe its too dark. Thanks!!
omarpac,Thanks.
lavhoes, no..no! no evil on this one, its because I want to simulate just like the spidey was standing alone in dark room and have a light cast from the right behind and front of the object.but..yeah...I think its too dark for such a funny piece. and..yup..you're right about the hand..Thanks for pointing that
