the clothes are nice on this character...pretty hot. not a big fan of her hands though...those could be defined a little better. watch the porportions on the face too. lets see some more stuff.

this last post is wonderful. would like to see more stuff, keep posting.
Yeah, I like the crop on that last head piece... "Evil Hench Siblings". HA HA! Nice!
Neat job taking on the art neuveau style for that cover piece too. That stuff is hard! Good to see you putting in the backgrounds too. Keep up the good work, mate!
Cheers and keep postin'!~~~JadeDragon
wow, cool stuff. I'll chime in and say it'd be cool to see more. Those heads look great. Interesting characters, reminds me of Mark Ryden.

if i were a little anime character i would ask them out. unless one of them is a guy.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
yes.
so these are some character portraits of the heros from a comic im working on. the reason theyre all cut off and whatnot is becuase i wanted to show some of their personality and style but still have there be a mystery about them.
as for the blank panel... well, ill think of something eventually.

much better!
On that comic panel, I'm a big fan of the tall panel with the gunslinger girl. I like the cropping on that one and I think it achieves the goal of keeping a mystery about it, because while she appears to be leaving the frame, it seems (to me) like she's looking at the viewer, or perhaps just turning away from looking at us, which somehow connects us with her and makes me wonder what she's doing...is she being coquettish? Did she just kill someone? Dig her outfit and that hand holding the gun too...
The top panel, not too fond of. He's very obviously looking off frame, and he's down in the corner there ...I feel like there's no sense of connection, and there's nothing extra there (prop wise) to bring any interest...and I'm really confused what that striped pole on the right is.
The other two are interesting, but I don't really have anything specifically to say about them.

haha so you found me out...... this picture actually just started as me sketching the character at the top- it was going to be a full picture of him, in which it would become evident that the "striped pole" is the top part of his sword slung across his back!
but then i wanted to draw the other characters so i cropped it off and did so. in relation to the story this composition would make no sense since the fellow at the top who occupies the first and largest space is not even a main character, the girl with the gun is, and maybe thats the reason shes so better drawn =P
Mars,
Really cool style, man! Keep it up and post some more!!![]()
