Tadpoles are cute !

This is one from a show I pitched..it's buried somewhere for now..but might arise again someday !

If not I hope to do something like a kids reading book with the little guy and his froggy / buggy friends .

Next one will be more drama I promise ( thinking WW1 FE2b fighting off an attack in the skies over the trenches )

I like it, it sells well. Everything is there that people need to know. It's good.

I have a small crit though. The line quality of the insert is very harsh and defined, in relation to the frog and the vegetation. The only reason why i bring this up is because the background of the sell is composed of objects defined by color, and the tadpoles are painted with soft edges.

This contrast is my only crit. You could say that the hard lines attract the eye to the insert...but i'd say that is done allready by the insert being of a darker hue than the surrounding, and the amount of gathered black that is generated by the tadpoles is equally as eyecatching.

    very true Mr Moo !

I did the little guy as a marker sketch on yellow newsprint lined paper....and I ended up colouring it fast / just doing something to package it all quickly .

If indeed it was to beomce a TV show I need to redo it . I'm tempted to just paint it as real as I can for fun.......but then if it was going to end up a cheap cartoon series I would have to really simplify everything.....color , line , water effects . Maybe I'll try this soon and post a follow -up !

    appreciate the note !
