I've missed quite a bit here. The Portrait done on toned paper is my favorite of the last batch of stuff. The slight gloss that you put on the eyes and lips with the highlight works very nice.

The illustrator piece made me laugh. Thanks for that one. You ever run over a duck it's the oddest thing. Just one big mess of feathers.

On the painting wip you have a nice composition going on. I hope you keep the same color palette as you work on this.

Then on the charcoal I think you got a little too dark with it. Her face feels squished a bit but It's probably that her nose sticks out too far. The nostrils are starting too far away form the face and makes it feel like the rest of the face is too small.

So it's time for a big dump of stuff. I apologize ahead of time for the quality of the photos :|

self portrait persona drawing, around 5 feet tall.

just messing around with acrylics on some fabric

    still life of christmas lights

abstract painting assignment, and an orange

quick still life, and a random face when i got bored. On cardboard.

little assignment from class where everyone had to paint from a tiny square of a poster. acrylics

assignment from class where i had to use a big cardboard tube to help create the painting. So I stuck a big permanent marker in the end and doodled a random picture from 4 feet away, then painted it. It's around 7 feet tall, acrylic on paper.

    and a close-up

and a painting I completely destroyed by attempting to add rain

    and a close-up

I've got more to post, I'll do it sometime in the near future I guess.

Tons of nice stuff in that last one.

    Love the SP.

On The Experiment of Acrylic on Fabric It seems like the color palette is clashing a bit. I would have like to have seen the colors in the fabric pattern worked in through out the painting. It would give it an integration that it's lacking right now.

The Christmas lights is by far my favorite of the group.

The painting of the girl in the rain is working very nicely up-close but the look of the rain in the whole painting just seems too crisp and thick.

The speed painting was handled very well. You show lots of skill in being able to fill out the volume and mass in that one.

Hello, Snowfalls, It's already the third day I'm looking through your book and enjoying it so much.
I think you are wonderful. Your art is very lyrical and light, in my opinion, and when I look at it in your book I absorb it and it leads me to very happy state of mind.
You know, you have a very wide range of skills, use of media, genres and themes. And that's so great, because in every one of them you have your own face ( well except those pencils' compositions, I saw a lot of similar to yours, made in this style on forum.) The rest is very individual. Your art is warm, touching and intelligent.
The portraits you do are one of the best on the forum, in my opinion, striking really, because it's real living people looking at me from them, full of personality and thoughts. That's rare, I respect your ability to notice and to express this. Your still lives are as expressive as the portraits, they have the same feeling of the careful observation and interest to objects from you. And everywhere in your book I feel presence of you, your attentive eyes of an artist.

It will be hard to separate my favorites, you have very many great pieces in this book.
    Well I'll try anyway.

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/Snowfigure1hr.jpg ( very nice volume, the best in your life drawings)

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/SnowSP1.jpg ( God, such a touching portrait, you should be proud you know, awesome)

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/SnowPgport.jpg ( I love people in your book, such a light, intelligent, beautiful faces, crystal clear souls)

    http://images5.theimagehosting.com/candlenmarbOil.jpg ( very nice skills)

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/Mainewatercolor.jpg ( colors might be a bit off, should be maybe cooler green, I think, but anyway, the mood is wonderful and such a great sensation of the cold day and water, and even time of day, closer to evening, 6-7 pm, I think.)

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/s...stillcharc.jpg (Beautiful still life, all those dots and variety of grey and lines go right to subconsciousness. Very pleasant feeling from this piece, I saved it, hope you don't mind.)

http://images5.theimagehosting.com/snow_futbloom.jpg ( lovely image and this blue is very elegant)

    http://images5.theimagehosting.com/grrr.1.jpg ( it's fun to look at)

http://photos9.flickr.com/12565618_e97cca85c7_o.jpg ( the pen strokes are great, create wonderful rhythm, it almost a music, you know)

http://photos8.flickr.com/12565619_e51b0670a5_o.jpg ( again, I can feel your eyes carefully looking at the objects.)

http://static.flickr.com/33/42137941_c4852737aa_o.jpg (impeccably beautiful. I have no words)

http://static.flickr.com/32/47904807_82ba932940_o.jpg ( you know all those pencils strokes, soft, cloudy, relaxing, they are very powerful mind-controlling stimulators, in my opinion, you can't not to love them)

http://static.flickr.com/28/48201044_3204761d96_o.jpg ( awesome sculpture, mix of the living person and art, beautiful, you should do more)

http://static.flickr.com/29/48201045_c37a8cb9ca_o.jpg ( very cool, almost white on white).

http://static.flickr.com/30/58890346_17b275930a_o. (it's so cool. i really have a feeling of the mirror, its cool, smooth surface and your reflection in it, WOW, You caught it nicely, I saved, awesome!)

    http://static.flickr.com/30/61458519_26db5e002e_o.jpg
    http://static.flickr.com/28/61458518_d08681c290_o.jpg
http://static.flickr.com/30/61498626_d38ac4f52c_o.jpg (those three are not just portraits, it's you sitting inside their brains, Wow, wow, wow, I saved them, pure beauty, you know)

http://static.flickr.com/31/62709624_272b1bae5e_o.jpg (a very interesting, strange feeling from the portrait and I like the colors)

http://static.flickr.com/29/64400086_cb935d9d35_o.jpg ( such a pleasant pondering mood in this one, I love it so much, save it, thanks)

    http://static.flickr.com/40/90544355_2de43c636b_o.jpg ( nice one)

    http://static.flickr.com/32/88105834_bc8a3203b8_o.jpg

http://static.flickr.com/15/90940986_7791eca15f_o.jpg (beautiful windy portrait, very, very moody. I love it, saved it)

http://static.flickr.com/31/100628516_a219689453_o.jpg (very interesting, and i like the feeling of the cold, cloudy day, you seem to like this weather a lot)

http://static.flickr.com/27/100628518_f59b8bf004_o.jpg ( very talented work, you got it, very similar . I saved it)

So thank you so much, It was a huge pleasure looking at your art, you are great.

that dark value on the cheek of the guache is a bit distracting. otherwise, pure sass.

also that oil from the weekend at Tiff's i think you ruined it with that blotchy rain. scaping rain into the paint would have made a cool effect (in theory)

Cam - you are doing some great stuff. I know you feel as you are struggling to get information from this 'foundation year' (why do they call it foundation...it's the furthest thing from that?)
That 5' sp looks great. I'd love too see it in person...I bet it's really impressive- not soley based on it's dimensions..just because it's well done.

I am with Tiffany too - that paint tube looks great. Your observational skills are developing so well. Just keep at it bro...Cheers!

The figure drawing looks very good.

The photo manips are cool. I like the last one, the saturation of color seems to be working nicely in it.

and now to break the forum tables on this page, heh

rob, jtheanswer, amer-nazri, Arconl, Idiomatic and Tiff. - Thanks

Tensai - thanks but no thanks heh, I really don't have the patience for that kind of ultra detail stuff(wish I did, then I could attempt some of the cool stuff that you do).

bradley - thanks, It is actually mean't to be "everything in the world"(kinda ambitious i guess). If you look at the bottom there is a tiny 'lil planet
