very nice shading!! you're problem is: youre lines are sometimes off!! you should study anatomy, so that you can have great&correct shapes, shaded nicely! An example is that profile of that man with the scar in your sketchbook, who's skull is about half as long as it should be!!

So I decided on a school, next year ill be going to SVA majoring in Illustration. 8) It'll probaly break my piggy-bank but oh well, hopefully it will be worth it. In other news my tablet isnt working and its making me cry

Excellent stuff. Your thread shows amazing progression, keep up the great work.
Love the figure drawings from life (the portraits too) but I think you need to work on anatomy studies along with getting the proportions right when you are working without reference.

the girl's eyes from may 17th are amazing. ..and the sketch from ref from nov is AMAZING. would love to see you do more studies from photos...it's where you'll really learn the subtelties of rendering flesh.
