    Cool Need School Advice!!!

hey i need help on finding a good college or institute for art that will expose my work as well as good placement of some sort...
i like everything but i love animation and fine art the most... i would love to eventually be a concept artist of some sort for movies and games and so on.. one of my goals is to eventually make my own story or movie of some sort... using illistrations that i make... i love to jus sketch beyond belief... thats my favorite but painting and pastels are also one of my favorites... i also would like a school were the shole town is creative and there are many creative people who live there and are inspired there... i want a place that will help me find my style and will encourage me to get better... so people help me out...
MOST OF ALL I WANNA KNOW IF I WHOULD GO FOR THE ANIMATION FIELD OF FINE ART AND ILLISTRATION FIELD...

Good news! You're at the right place!

Bad news!! You've gotta go through the threads

I'm in Sheridan myself though. But there are lots of schools for you depending on your budget and location. If you ask me you don't need to be in the best school to push yourself. You can be in the best school, but still not be the best if you have limited passion.

Damn! You want us to do it all for you don't you!

It's such a personal choice as far as what field you're going to feel comfortable in.

Here's a link to some major art schools.

Things to consider would be the current student work on the walls- does it kick your ass? Will you be challenged there? What about the alumni from that place? Are they IN the field they attended school for (Taco Bell doesn't count as being employed after college)? The school's alumni base is your ticket to the life beyond school.

    Good luck.
