Wow... I am impressed. I really love the way that you can create so much detail in your drawings, very nice. I like the second guy a lot in terms of design and the grand sweeping images are awsome. One thing I would suggest is working on your sense of proportion in the faces. I see a lot of anime influences in your work and it is easier sometimes to misalign areas of the body when you start with simplistic lines and faces. Great job overall I want to see more!

Nice Sketches Chris I think these are far better than your colored works. A fully rendered image for a value study to make a more believable image. One crit that I have is the guy whose looking up, to me he looks like he's rolling his eyes to some unknown assailant. A straight foward eye position would be far better in my opinion.

    10/29/04 Updates

Whoa, Sylkx..AKA.. Mr. Kim from Queens, NYC, lol.

Thanks for viewing man, I appreciate it. And thanks for the comments, though I still think I have light years to go to become much better. :ighs::
How was the figure drawing session yesterday? DId it go well?

Anyway guys, since I'm at work at the moment, I won't be able to post other stuff until maybe later tonight, lol... I can post digital works in progress right now, and some old ones that I think still need improvements or more works.

    Thank you.

    hey vendetta!
got some great good old manga going on here!!
only thing is the hands on a lot of them are a bit wonky...either the fingers getting thinner, or the fingers too short or too near eachother etc...

beautiful composition on a lot of them!!
    cheers,
    odt!

    Hey, thanks ODT!

I'msorry bout the hands... I still find it hard to draw hands without references. THey're so annoying, lol. I'll practice that some more, and hopefully I won't make the same mistake in my next sketches. thanks again man.

This is Acheros, a vampire warrior that I sketched earlier today. He might be a bad guy in this story that my friends and I are making.

Awesome stuff, man. I'd like to see some more stuff done from life, but even some of the ones that seem to have come out of your head or from reference are pretty good. I tend to be shy towards anime and linear characters like that, but those are good too. Lets see some life studies!

    Good shit, Don't Stop!

[QUOTE=Venndetta1]Another digital paint.... my monitor is badly calibrated which I realized after comparing it to another monitor. It might turn a lot darker and dull in yours than when viewed in mine. ::sighs:: STUPID LAPTOP!!

kay, i was bored so i started drawing a garlic...

then i drew that same garlic again only on a different perspective

then i drew that garlic again and started to "mutate" that damn thing

then i drew it again and "mutated" it even more

    oh, boredom...

im probably gonna continue to do this along with other sketches, but for now this is all i have. sighs.

i found this old drawing from last year in one of my "lost" sketchbooks. it's a dragon colored in color pencils. it's ripping apart ifyou look closely, so i had to use a white background just so i can scan it neatly.

As was mentioned before I really like the amount of detail you put into your art. Keep it up mate.

    Mecha design...

    The original drawing...

I sketched a leg for it in photoshop...

It looked empty on the left side... so i went back to my sketchbook and designed a wing... then copy and paste it on the drawing.

THere are a few things id like to add... like shattered buildings and stuff... but for now, this is all i can show, hope you guys lke it. I will be coloring this soon.
