What does one say to honour such beautifull works of art.
I'm really amazed, outstanding art, your works killed me on sight.

These are so fantastic.
My favorite part is the one with the guys and the four hammers, and the all bad ass dude has a hammer with little tallys on it. I nearly filled my pants when I figured out that's how many people he killed with that hammer. So bad ass... god... I love you..... omg.....
omg O_o
magnificent, perfect, outstanding...
I have no words for that
hey wes,
just a thought.. the rendering on all of these is totally top notch, a realy nice balance of loose lines and tighter areas. it might be a stylistic choice since i've seen a lot of your characters done this way, but there isn't really a definite light source in these drawings. except for the darkened parts under the nose, lips and eyebrows of the characters, it looks like they're all hanging out on a cloudy day.. which isn't unnatural of coursefor all i know this world could be pretty overcast. but by adding some strong light in your illos it could give you all kinds of potential value, composition and depth!
anyway, you go boy. marry me ok?
~ n
This would be a great comic book, I'm already loving the world, the characters have so much character in them that they could be alive, the judge in the middle reminds me of clint eastwood as he rides into town.
Will you marry me too? It will be legal in some state soon.....![]()

the out of body experience on the last one was done very well. your compositions are damned good expecially considering all the shit you have crammed into these peices.
*pats wes on the arse*
Awesome drawings!
Just dropped in to see whats new here. Came across these fantastic drawings that everyone's been raving over near the bottom of the of page one. Had to bring it back up to the top with a reply.
I would've hated to miss these. You don't see pencil as finished art much. It's nice to see.
Excellent!
oh wow these are great, very inspirational
omg omg omg OMG, THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THESE! o.O WOW!
Coming up out of lurk mode to catch a breathe and say, "Um, WOW!" That is some very sweet and truly inspiring pencil mumbo jumbo!

Amazing Wes. Your skill with the pencil (among other things) just blows me away. I think it's great how you were able to take the motifs and moods of the badass Degenesis world and add to it. I set that first one as my desktop for inspiration. Your figure studies are beautiful and your sketches rock! Nice work sir.

Sublime art! Incredible.![]()
That said, the people seemed to be disconnected from one another as if each was drawn in isolation. Theres just something about the compositions that could be improved in that respect, more of a feeling of interaction between the characters and a focus to the image that draws you in.

How can i say that the people haven´t said yet... Extraordinarios? Cojonudos!. ( i am sure that anybody have said these words before).
I have a question. Yous drawings start with that dark contrast or you increase it while you are shade it? How can you explain your method. (if you want to reveal us your "trick").
Keep showing us your stuff please!

These are brilliant. Very natural and interesting characters. Amazing!
I really like the expressive line quality in your images and always look forward to see what you will post next. I would love to see one of these images developed in color through either traditional or digital media. I have always wondered, why don't you sign your work. I know they are probobly sketches but they are really great works of art. keep posting, I enjoy looking at your work.
put these into the "best of ca.org section already"!!![]()
