Worked with 3ds max, retouched with photoshop ...
it is an old work, I have recaptured it to liberate it for the forum, though I think that it is not a good work as image,
Excuse my Englishman.

Your Englishman is excused.
I like this image, the air has a very thick, dirty feel. The lighting is also well done. What program did you model this in?
Yo tambien me gusta este.... image (pardon my Spanish)
Tiene un gran... dirty feel to it, and me gusta...
I'm going to stop trying to Speak Espanol now. Just trying to sound smart to someone contributing from Spain.
I agree with Mike about the main guy not quite fitting. I'm sorry I can't be more specific but the texture of his armor or perhaps the coloring sets him off from the rest. I like the foreboding atmosphere the sky and muddy ground give. Bye now.
(solamente tres anos de espanol no ayudan la gente para hablar)
Disclaimer: Unless otherwise stated, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Looks good Devilsnok, just the kind of picture i like. Would be cool to see the untouched 3D image though.
Cast a lot more light on the main characters up front. It may not be realistic, but it would give the image more power if these couple guys had a lot more definition. Illustration is like theatre in that regard. You can't effectively tell a story without the occasional spotlight.
I agree it might be a bit out of the picture for the guy in the front but in the sense of idealism in the piece, it is perfectly fine to stick a commander out of the ordinary masses of combatants to show perhaps the importance of that one character. Though, technically, there should be a little fixing. I think it's the lights reflected on his left leg and especially on the right foot that make him a bit out. But it's not very noticable unless you look closely compare with the whole composition. Anyway, very nice piece of artwork. Keep up the good work.
**first portion edited for stupidity**
i agree it would be cool to see him without the 'background' he looks fuckin rad.
