heloo!

the seattle sketch group met at alki beach in seattle on saturday, woo!

we met in the afternoon and sketched [though most of the time we built things out of sand], until we got hungry, had dinner across the street and later went to bojee's house and drewdrewdrew [thanks to all the art on the walls]. in all, it was a great time to forget about the week, get inspired, learn and to just hang out with all these neat kids.

look at the background, how much less saturated it is from the foreground.. guess cameras work like your eyes do.. [you can't see as much color because when it's dark, color is what you can't see first, then you can't see light. something about rods and cones and one being more powerful than the other?]
