Beautiful work, Anton!! I like it a lot. It looks like it's going to be very tough to optimize for the web, but good things are worth the wait!
amazing work
i nit pic too frequently my only crit is that the black hole or splat on the lower right "device" seems 2d but i would say this is nearly flawless that and you may want to darken the pipes around te bottom to make sure ot look like the light is falling off
give a man a fish and he will have fish give a man a shoe and he will have a shoe tomorrow will lie to you so it is best to have died today
my daily sketchbook
and my new portfolio web site!
My NEW PortFoLio
yeah what a massive download thats gonna be : ) You should reduce the amount of space used in the header since it is mostly bg or fill it with something even more cool than the stuff on the sides. Maybe an illustration of some kind to give it more life.
Damn thats nice!
Im planing a new website myself and this definatly gives me alot of inspiration...
Awesome details!
I agree with what everyone said. Everything is pretty neat. The only gripe I have about this is that an interface's purpose is supposed to be first convenient and secondly aestheticly pleasing. When the design takes over the usability or even the content, it can be a problem. Well maybe not a problem but at least a distraction.
It's still a kickass job tho. 2c
This is a great idea for an interface, the only thing i see is that you may have a little troble implementing it because of the left side buttons.... i recomend you to make them a little bigger so you can unse black buttons woth labels and for the "texture" from the border usea a table backgorund
it wold also be easyer to updet later.....
cheers
Interesting, but too detailed for me as for a layout design.

This is great looking, keep up the good work
hey there, that's a beautiful work you're sharing there...
have you planned any animations on it... your mechanical stuff is a perfect field for that
URL? I'll want to book mark this one!
Looks really good! If this were going to be an interface for a cd or something that's not dependent on download times, it's probably fine as it is. Or unless you know all your viewers are gonna have broadband
The top could probably use some reducing? Also I think the "BONE" lettering could stand out more.
Me Likey Very Much!!
I like the attention to detail. This must have taken you quite a while to make. How long exactly?
fantasy!it just in photoshop only!!!
I agree with everyone else about the download times. What I've heard, is most websurfers attention span is about 10-20 seconds. If it doesn't load within then, they get impatient. However, a casual websurfer probably won't come about your site. You would get a lot of gamers (I assume that is what the site is) and artists. I figure a lot of us have dsl connections at least. Most of the artists and gamers I know do.
That being said, I love the design! Very techno-organic. As Groover McNab said, the word "Bone" could stand out a bit more. Maybe an outline or something.
Anyway, 5 gold stars for you! *****

I wish I had more time to critique this, but I'll have to keep it short.
This is some seriously outstanding work. Nuf said. You've done a great job here. Also, optimizing this for the web would be a snap, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
The only potential problem I see is that the upper portion of the page takes up a whole lot of space. My monitor resolution is set much higher than your average user, yet, even so, a good portion of the interface is hidden below the screen. You want to try to avoid that when you can. However, the only way to really fix it would be to "cut off" a large chunk off the top. There shouldn't be too much visible space above the word BONE. That however defeats part of your design. So, it's pretty much a judgment call on your part.
Regardless, this thing is sweet. I'm a sucker for good interface design, and this is really good. One of the best I've seen in a long time.
De Omnibus Dubitandum (Everything Must Be Doubted)
wow good stuff... must have taken more than mine... more than 8 hours.
Slicing that thing is going be difficult... Good luck...
I have a similar grunge website if you care to look at it.
