XM Satellite Radio
Anyone heard or use it?
I just purchased one along with an audio system built for it and it's changed my world.
I'm a college student studying graphic design, so there are those late nights where I am locked in my bedroom working away on my computer for assignments or something in regards to my senior portfolio. Considering I'm on dial-up, don't have cable access, or a cd-based stereo system in my bedroom (tv and stereo is in the tv room) it can get pretty damn boring when working on something. So boring that it just puts me to sleep.
However, with XM radio, it's a blessing. No commercials at all (in regards to music stations) and it's always fresh and on-going 24/7. It comes with a monthly fee of 10 dollars, but think of it as the digital cable of radio. Never thought I would see myself doing that, paying a monthly charge for radio of all things. but with 120 stations to pick from, I'm not complaining.
Curious to know though, anyone else have one? Or have thoughts on it.
