    Question Retired Warsuit

This is supposed to be the ak47 of warsuits in the future. The suit was designed to handle all weather conditions, however, ice would build up between the crevices and when it thawed the titanium underneath would rust.

Soo...it's been sold to neighboring countries now as a cheaper alternative. Includes nanotechnology, carbon ceramic...visor not included so you can see his face.

I got pretty tired of seeing characters with body builder physiques moving with immense speed and stamina, I'm an athlete myself and I know you can't be slapping that much mass on your frame and still perform the way characters do in games. I Used sprinters as an example.

I'm currently a marketing student doing this as a hobby, but I would like to take game development in the future.

Nice job, this looks good. I'd suggest maybe pulling the hands away from the body slightly, the design of the gloves is a little lost against the thigh detailing at the moment. I really like the fact that you have chosen a more ectomorph body shape as well. I'm assuming this is still WIP so you'd probably do this anyway but I'd also suggest adding a shadow under him to ground him, and cleaning up the white background and the edges in general. Good work tho, keep it up.

Ok I added a shadow and created a bit more contrast to separate the hands. Good points! thank you

Cool, that was fast! If you don't mind me offering further critique: your shadows are currently on two different ground planes, I'd keep them both to the same plane you established in your initial sketch so it looks like they are standing in the same place. Also, the shadows are quite big and dark at the moment, which is indicative of strong light, whereas the lighting on the forms in your picture is more of a soft ambient light at present. I'd suggest making the ground shadows a lot softer and lighter, and keep them more to the area directly under his feet.

    Yup, liking this.
    Couple of things.
Looks like the head/back armour design would allow quite restricted movement in particular the ability to look upwards. Also when looking left and right the back armour would push the helmet over.
Needs the soles of the boots built up to give better all terrain traction.
Also (sorry, annoying point I know) titanium is regarded as a 'royal' metal in that it does not corrode (why it is used as for body implants). What I would suggest is that the lubricating system between the plates is breaking down, lovely oily/greasy streaks everywhere so necessitating that the suits are retired to civilian use.
    Watching with interest. Cool

love your last point especially. it did cross my mind! the head issue I suppose I could fix by raising it up? less of a hunch? for the straightening up I think by increasing the gap between the lower 2 back plates might help, maybe give them a hinge?

Consider a lobsterback sliding plate arrangement from the helmet tapering down across the shoulders and spine. You could keep your current look (which I rather like) and still have the movement.

small update. Cleaned up the white background as well. I have a shitty monitor so sometimes I can't see the darkest values with the best detail.
