I need help with this panel

Something's off with this and I can't place it. I'm thinking it's the faces of the adults but I don't know exactly. Any help is appreciated.

Yes something is indeed off:

The anatomy. All of it. Even the baby.
Specifically, what jumps the most at me is the insanely broad and uneven shoulders of the adults, and their faces. Drawing faces from above ain't easy, but as with anything else it helps to get reference. Googling "head top view" would probably be a good start.

The faces are looking up when they're looking down at the baby, it just looks odd to lift your head up only to strain your eyes to look down. The brow is extremely prominent in top down view and the lips are barely visible, its a really difficult angle to pull off, I think you should do some studies before attempting to take this any further.
