young paddy & complete2: thanks guys! if some of the images disturbed you, then my work was done! i'm a big fan of horror stuff, and was trying to go for designs and sketches that really just went beyond traditional horned, fanged, clawed, scary...into the "absolute affront and blasphemy against god, nature and all that is good and wholesome" scary.
now, i just found a nice lil black and white ref photo of one of my favorite things...a nice JUICEY BoOTy! since i'm trying to get better at digital painting (and painting in general) i've started with just experimentation in gray tones and light/dark...color pieces will come someday soon! i hope that someday i will be able to stand beside the greats like davi, el coro and the like (but who doesn't really?). ;-)
anyway, i present to you the original photo...
and my painted version done with a wacom and photoslop...
if anyone has suggestions on digi-painting, and would like to offer advice, that would be hellah sweet, and MUCH appreciated!

i always have trouble capturing the faces...or faces in general...anyone have any pointers/guidelines/tips on how to get really good faces and such? i think i get caught up in my own head...like i want, NEED the piece to come out exactly like the subject...i get performance anxiety...like if i don't do my subject justice then they'll hate me forever...

hey everyone!
thanks for your praise and comments! i'm hoping to post up some more stuff soon. my comp at home took a dump and died a couple weeks ago, so i'm forced to sneak scans and artwork at work.
if anything this will bump my sketchbook up again on the list...stay tuned for some more whacked out nasty demon chix! lates
