    Freehand Sketching and Perspective Confusion

Hi all, Hope everyone is enjoying the life.

I have run into a small issue regarding perspective. While doing isometric drawings I seem to miss the correct perspective lines. For example elevation and ground plane lines sometimes mix up and I end up picking wrong points.

So if there is some hint on keeping the correct ground and elevation as well as rotating the parts ( e.g robots ) in correct axis. I have tried color coding the ground plane and center line but that results in a messy drawing.

My main focus here is drawing robots where we need to keep the balance and center of gravity.

    Thanks.

  2. Start learning the basics of perspective, i.e. constructing simple objects in 1, 2, 3 point perspective.
If you can do this effortlessly, it is time to move on and freehand robots and nude chicks...

I have gone through basics multiple times and that's exactly where I am stuck, whenever I try to build complex objects with many parts it all gets messed up.

  4. Show some examples?

Ok I will scan them, On side note I dropped in some vertical planes and that seems to help retain the correct orientation. I suppose its a matter of trying to solve the problems through different methods.
