loomis study and life drawing class
Keep those studies goin'! Just take your time to really measure and angle to determine what lies where. Carefully observe what you're drawing. Understanding the form and its functionality is the priority, no? If you're unable to solve problems that you encounter, dig around in the resources that are available to you. Draw dozens of noses, eyes, ears, and everything. Practice drawing shapes in perspective and from varying angles (it'll help with foreshortening, and everything), and draw from life as much as you possibly can.
Keep it up, and improvement will inevitably come knocking on your door.
Hey, nice start! Keep working hard and study alot. Cheers
selfportrait in acrylics not good -_-
Exhno: im already paying a lot of attention to get the pose correct thanks did the other stuff to but maybe i need more work on that

i've been having some emotional instabilities the last days so i don't study enough -_-
uhrg another crappy drawing day
life drawing from today
damn i really need to draw more
I can see evolution in your drawings, pushing more your limits and you would see your full potential.
Azsha : thanks some days i draw better than other so i dont know if im improving :/
my studies from today i am goin to try to draw hands daily to now because they're really a problem still
first year illustration...as long as you keep up drawing from life and go all chips in you'll exit a pro no stress! don't make the same mistake I did and frolick about thinking you'll land a job after you graduate. those 3 years in uni is the best opportunity to isolate yourself and go all out.
it gets harder to do so when you graduate.
anyway you're making progress. I see you are saying hands are giving you issues. alternate doing long detailed studies and quick 1-2 minute sketches of them, helps break down all that information into basic forms.
practice practice practice. I know all about having emotional instabilities interfering with your progress. Hard as it is, and on times when you don't want to do anything, will yourself to pick up a pencil and sketch from imagination. you'll soon find you ready to resume studies
ciao!
If I happen to comment on your sketchbook, please don't feel obliged to comment on mine. use that time instead to get back to work.

luthertaylor:yeah but in my college we also have to do a lot of stuff that doesn't have much to do with illustrating like this year i also had to choose a second option (advertisement in my case) and we have a lot of theoretical lessons and even a class called picture analysis where we have to do really weird things like making abstract sculptures with paper and garbage and doing an intervention in a public space and also typography ( and like really create your own font ) and our illustration teacher only has experience from colouring her husbands comics and is very much in "experimental" things and that is why i have things like on the page from yesterday someone told me the next year is going to be better and hope that is true
drawings from today
todays life model drawings
i had a holiday at the shore so not much done past week and most of imagination

things since last post (again way less than it should be but the comic frames take like almost a full day per frame)
from yesterday and today the sketch with watercolor was an exercise on anatomy from memory and i forgot to explain that the comic frames are for school and are with text of a calvin and hobbes comic
the rest is just the usual excercises
from today's drawing classes
all drawings since the last post all from imagination except hands building (thats what in the really unclear picture :p )and the bike
