Not to be that person but can we just keep this too one thread and let him reply, this is upsetting to a lot of people for a lot of different reasons but lots not spew shit all over the forms, and hope that this stays contained and that everyone gets to the answers they are looking for.

I'm kind of curious, especially since I missed the "old days"...what was it like? In brief...

And is there anything close? Besides CGhub and a few of those other commonly recommended outposts.

I met wonderful people on this board, learned from each other.
There was a real sense of community, the activities were actually active with hundreds of entries.
Last Man Standing was awesomely amazing, thanks to Cody "motherfucking" Tilson.
The level of people was extremely competitive.
Thunderdomes were a thing that actually happened often.
Those are just few things.

That's why gorilla artfare was created and so many other splinter communities happened afterwards.

I came back because I missed those times.


I'm not sure if that past can be recaptured, not from lack of trying though.

Well, i wish there were a different place to go with the same lvl of activity that there is here... even if its not as much as it used to be back then... there is not a whole lot of places like this one... not yet, CGhub is kinda quiet place actually .. nobody posts anything outside of the challenges area... thats about it.. the front page with all the pretty pics.. and challenges.. but no "community"

If anybody knows of a great art forum with potential for " The Next CA" please do share...

Or after CA falls... people need to gather and rise a new community from the ashes.. an honest one..

as far as I'm concerned, every part of this forum is owned by Jason Manley, and so everyone using this forum should know who they are dealing with. There are a lot of people on this site that I am sure are not yet aware of what's going on. They should all know, especially if they are planning on spending money on anything he is involved with.
