My course is called 'Games Concepts Design' and I'm in my third year, the course name is deceptive though because it mainly focuses around 3D modeling and game engine work, with a tiny bit of life drawing and matte painting thrown in. The course has been restructured for the first years though due to complaints, so the current first years actually do concept design, and a new course called 'Games Technical Art' has been introduced which is similar to what I actually do. In addition to this some of the compulsory modules on the course are pretty unrelated to art at all - like 'Games business and legal studies' which I had to do last semester, and 'Video Games Marketing' which I have to do this semester - so its not really as concept art orientated as you'd expect from a course titled 'Games Concept Design'
