Sexuality? Maybe not. But I think drawing from nude models gives people the proper exposure to realize that the body is not something people should be ashamed of. Bodies are beautiful, and it shouldn't matter whether what the gender of yourself and your subjects are in order to appreciate them. Sexuality is kind of a different sphere of thinking about people and the body. So unless your art is directly intended to be provocative in the sense of arousing sexual interest, then really it is kind of irrelevant.

The larger question is, how much of sexual preference is artificially constructed? And why do certain things beyond simply gender appeal to certain people? We tend to think of fetishes as something for the 1% or even .001%, but we all have them to some degree - hair color, hair style, height, clothing, facial features, body types, voice, etc. And, only some part of it can be ascribed to evolution, or we'd all like the exact same thing. I think a lot of heterosexual attraction in society has to do with keeping things simple. People typically don't like to think, and they dislike the idea of how they'd interact with others if they thought of them in a sexual way.

What we like to think of as normal is actually a construct. I just saw a fisherman on the Colbert Report cut off a mollusk's testes and swallow it raw. Perfectly natural to him.

Making art about the human form, and looking at art about the human form will have an effect on every concept capable of being communicated by that form. Figure drawing, and all drawing, is a kind of knowledge. I want to emphasize that it's the honesty of the picture that really matters not whether the characters are wearing clothes or not. Attempts to control who and what gets represented in a picture, is an expression of a political agenda. I would argue that exposure to honest works of art representing various physiognomies and skin colors prevents the politicization of sexuality, race, and basically makes people less ignorant.

Yes, definitely. Nudity does not become a signal or stimuli of sexual invitation. The more hidden something is the more fetishized. But no nudity cannot make a straight person gay.
