hi I'm not sure if i'm doing this right (the sketchbook business I mean!!)
I'm 16, a student from canada, and most of the stuff I post on here will be from when I was 14-16 +

I forgot to mention my last post was fanart (somewhat gender bent) for Ava's demon!! Kind of hard to tell but alas!!!
these are basically just some cool lighting in a sherlock episode, so I froze the screen and did a quick study, and the progress from my ava drawing :>

I unfortunately can't do much stuff right now because of school, so here is some drawing practice of a draped model from last year, when I first got my tablet. As you can see, just rough sketch work, 2-3 mins, no colour v.v But it's the only anatomy work I've got on my computer- hopefully I can scan more of my traditional stuff in the future!! (I think it's probably much better!!) (p.s the stock is from senshistock on dA :> )

More early digital stuff! This is the first digital portrait I did proper (not just practice sketches). It's a self-portrait from when I was 15 - pretty unfinished, and the colour and lighting is p boring all in all. Working on it!!

here is a quick gif i did, trying to figure out how birds in flight worked.... not so successful, going to retry tomorrow with simpler bird silhouette, focusing more on motion and naturalistic movement :/Name: lunapic_136159864799177_2.gif

this is a WIP from my re-attempt of the bird animation... don't know if I'll finish it, not happy with the line-work, too blurry. might re-do this with different brushes ... also movement isn't as naturalistic as I'd like... any critique is, of course, welcomed. Bless this incompetent peon with any tips you might have!!!Name: yeahhhh.gif

Fantastic studies, especially that last set of hands and the colour portrait. Excellent use of animated GIFs too, very cool! I think they look great.

study I did from atom's for peace's new video "ingenue" :> Ignore the stuff in the middle, once I spend a certain amount of time on something I no longer feel comfortable with it just being realistic uh

this is a painting I did last year (when I was 15) for school. Acrylic and oil on panel. It was my first time ever doing a real painting in acrylic or oil!! I never finished it though

    Beautiful paintings for your age
Would like to see some more studies from you. If you start doing them and learning anatomy right, you'll be such a badass artist. Nontheless, you've already shown promising facial structure knowledge.
I'm curious, where do you want to go with all this? illustration? concept art? design?
Gonna keep an eye on you

thanks @ sleep.less !!! I feel really flattered and you're absolutely right about anatomy i'm really beginner there so over the past few weeks I've done lots of studies!! My scanner isn't working of course but i'll have them up soon. I plan on going into animation or illustration someday
Here are some quick one-layer digital studies I did of two of my internet buds!
