Two (older) Paintings

This is the first time posting on this site, so hello!
I've come to notice that I am slipping backwards. I'm proud of the skills I've honed so far, but I need to keep going and I'm definitely not as good as I would like to be. I know I need to work on colors and backgrounds, but any help/advice/critiques are appreciated! I posted two pieces I drew over the summer that seem to look the best from my gallery:

Loomis, a pack of cheap paper and some pencils. Practice perspective and structural drawing, those are the things where you are missing out the most.
