Jordan's Sketch Book!

Hello!

First off let me welcome and thank you for checking out my sketch book, I plan to upload regularly as I work to improve and develop along side you all!

I picked up my first Wacom tablet this morning from UPS, and just had time to install and set it up, then play around for 45 minutes or so. I did a quick black & white thumbnail-ish piece just to try it out (and have attached it below). I will say that while I am well acquainted with photoshop, I have never quite used it painting in this way and am definitely going to be looking for resources to learn from.

Be warned: this was very rough/quick when I first started on my wacom, but it was SO MUCH FUN!!! To be honest with I pencil I could never really just throw something on a page and let it develop as I went! maybe its because I draw slowly, but I definitely LOVE my Wacom and all it offers, and I've just barely been able to get started!

When/If you ever find yourself looking at anything I upload here, PLEASE feel free to give me any and all comments/criticisms because I am here to learn, grow, and develop!

Got to play around for a little more with the wacom, definitely getting smoother as I keep practising. Just a couple random gestures from posemaniacs, and some other random fun playing.

Spent alot of the evening trying to learn, I feel much less knowledgeable with photoshop that I thought I was, using it in such a different capacity. did alot of color blending and some other stuff of the sort, only a few things worth posting though (Barely - but I do want to get everything up here, it is a sketchbook thread after all!).

Yay, continuously feeling better and getting more used to the wacom! love the capabilities it has in combo with photoshop. had 3 layers with 3 different left arm positions i can toggle between and compare, soo nice!

threw some heir in there for form/flow

Taking the rough sketch from my previous post further, did simple linework and am starting to paint. would really love comments and crits on this one as it unfolds! THANKS!
