Loving Bachalo's new design for Cyclops' new outfit.

Feb 5 - Sketch from our last D&D session. My char had fallen in a pit while the monk was flinging kobolds left and right. There were 3 other PCs involved but by initial comp kinda restricted how many I could put in there easily

Feb 10 - After reading a few of the Wolverine and the X-Men comics, drawn by Bachalo, I was inspired to sketch out a scene with Cyclops and Wolvie staring each other down. Mansion layout in the frame is from one of the comics.

Thanks Sean!
By panels do you mean sequential stuff? I wish I had the focus to put down a story or even a 3 panel comic, no good excuse for not doing though I spose![]()

Kevin_ Thanks man! yeah I need to do more anatomy practice for sure, even just dropping a rough skelie down before starting a drawing would help.
I actually brought my Leeloo sketch into PS and fixed up the proportions me thinks. Let me know if there's any hotspots I should focus on.
Thanks.
Feb 21 - Had a good time with this one.
Not sure if anyone remembers the Steve Jackson / Ian Livingstone Fantasy Fight books from the 80's but they were my first intro into pen & paper role playing games and they were wonderful.
These were so cool to me back then and the best thing about them were the illustrations. They were heavily inked, moody and mysterious. The details were not over-rendered and your were left with only your imagination to complete the story.
Here's my take on a scene you might have found in one of those books.
"You enter a small room. Its lavishly decorated with deep red velvet curtains, ivory tables and vases that carry large ferns. An aroma of incense and fresh fruit fills the air and there seems to a be a slight breeze, although you cannot see from where it comes. Sitting on an ivory carved throne in the centre of the room is a beautiful woman. She wears a white gown with a polished silver breastplate and ring mail. upon her heads site a simple golden head band.
Suddenly she stands with with fierceness in her eyes and reveals a dagger in hand. Then slashes her wrist with one quick motion. She approaches you as the blood begins to flow and with the dagger at her side, offers you her wrist...
Do accept her offering?

Cheers for dropping in on my sketchbook.
I dig the ink work? (or texta cant tell from photo). but very cool. Totally jealous of your line work, you have such good strong confident lines.I seem to get very sloppy and sketchy.
Keep the designs and sketchbook coming.
Check out my sketchbook; criticism welcome > Jonos Sketchbook
