fel free to comment and critics
cheers
Whoops. I entered. D'Oh!
I think you may have done yourself a disservice by waiting until now to post; your stuff is pretty impressive. Of all the pieces I see here, there's only one that I think could stand some big improvement and that's the SP (it's an SP, isn't it?) Something about the eye placement.
But your anatomy studies are bang on, and the confidence shown in your lines is very cool.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet - Abe Lincoln
How good are you?

p sage, thanks man, it's supposed to be a sp :/, but yes you are right with eye placement, recently i have troubles with getting accurate portrait proportions
ok, yesterdays stuff, my exercises (i am concentrated on studying anatomy now) master study + study fromphoto ref + sp(?)
back to work!
You seem to have a pretty good understanding of value and that's important! However, don't be afraid to whip out some light lights and dark darks every once in a while to really make your stuff pop. Don't go overboard, of course, but sometimes just a little bit of outlining here and there is the key to making your artwork distinctly pleasing to look at. Something tells me that the image quality is doing you a disservice since your digital drawing seems to have the best variance in value. Good stuff! If you keep at it, I'm sure your skill and talent will take you far.
Here is my sketchbook: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=166026 Check it out, yah?

Hi
Tobuoi, thanks man a lot, great advices. I have to do more lousy, expressive pieces and put values more confidently. I noticed that I made my newest pieces very careful. feel that this way I can study deeper and understand more, but they are very stiff sometimes:/
yesterdays stuff,i'm studying anatomy from michelangeolo and photos, some sketches also, sorry for crappy photo quality.
Love the helmet studies witek. Im into sp's right now so I like seeing yours. Keep up the good work man.![]()
next!
jigje, thanks a lot
latest stuff: master study and some life drawin,![]()
hi Again
yay, next post the same dayI take the opportunity today to work hard,as many hours as possible
i'm trying to improve anatomy and faces, so im doin master(www.wga.hu), photo(using fineart.sk) studies and nature drawings(heads and hands)
here they are:
Im really frustrated about this, I have to work harderrr... and i promised myself, that for now I will post everything i draw, paint( maybe except stuff on newspapers during lunch)
so here they are, as always anatomy +some colours(life painting)
more digitals , photo studies and soe pencil work too , back to work
Nice studies man. Your definately doing the right things with master studies and life studies, one of the best ways to steadily improve. Keep goin man, I'd love to see some more digital still life paintings too!
Pyroclasm00,thanks for encouragement, Im now going to do more color studies so more still life paintings will come,
more anatomy this time, trying memorize muscle placement and how they look like.My way to do this is to draw from book one drawing, analyze , and then try to draw it from memory few times. Then i correct mistakes, copy from book proper drawing and then try to do it from memory again...repeat process..
recent stuff
cool helmet studiesi'd like to see more of your digital pianting
DRAW UNTILL IT HURTS
AND THEN DRAW SOME MORE
miycko thanks! i'll do more digitals, i want to develop speed because now I'm very slow with them

update:
my chow entry,
plenty of work ahead with this, need some advices
Witek- stuff is looking good. Seem to be steadily improving. I noticed that most of your digital paintings get to the same level of developement and then just seem to stop. I'm not sure if this is intentional but you should try to push some of them to being more polished, even if you don't want to do more polished work and want to keep it quick and emotional it is always good to go out of your comfort zone every once and a bit. So far the one pushed the farthest, in my opinion, is the digital fighter at the bottom of post #16.
All is looking good, keep it up. What is the topic for CHOW?
Sketchbook Feel free to comment
rth2art,thanks a lot. that's a good point. The reason for this is thtat i limit tim for making them, but I will push some of them more(somebody have already told me that pushing piece to the end will make me progressing faster)
chow topic is "Ti'phar of the Ararita "-alien queen
here is my chow finished, you are welcome to point every flaw and thing i have to improve,
till next time

I want to find here some people to draw with(anybody have some contacts?)
here is some warm up wip stuff
Hey man , good to see plenty of studies going on here.
Keep studying that anatomy, study poses and draw people walking about outside....try to understand the distribution of weight...the placement of feet is very important for this.
I hope your student exchange goes well, i recently did one myself to Paris. Goodluck!

this one came out pretty bad.i had problems with catching proper colours and making fog:/
im gonna do enviros regularly , i want to improve them.
by the way can anybody explain me ho masks works in photoshop and how use them?any tutorial?
around 2 hrs
I want to improove!
enviro..
i spent a lot of time on this and effect is...not satisfying.
i aim for painting enviro as a whole using general shapes and not getting into details-but it seems so difficult for me to capture colors shapes and everything right. i rtying to put more details but it only result in messing a piece and spending a lot of time on it.
anybody knows any tutorials and/or advices about making enviroments?
cheers
