    Whoops. I entered. D'Oh!

I think you may have done yourself a disservice by waiting until now to post; your stuff is pretty impressive. Of all the pieces I see here, there's only one that I think could stand some big improvement and that's the SP (it's an SP, isn't it?) Something about the eye placement.

But your anatomy studies are bang on, and the confidence shown in your lines is very cool.

You seem to have a pretty good understanding of value and that's important! However, don't be afraid to whip out some light lights and dark darks every once in a while to really make your stuff pop. Don't go overboard, of course, but sometimes just a little bit of outlining here and there is the key to making your artwork distinctly pleasing to look at. Something tells me that the image quality is doing you a disservice since your digital drawing seems to have the best variance in value. Good stuff! If you keep at it, I'm sure your skill and talent will take you far.
Here is my sketchbook: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=166026 Check it out, yah?

    Hi
Tobuoi, thanks man a lot, great advices. I have to do more lousy, expressive pieces and put values more confidently. I noticed that I made my newest pieces very careful. feel that this way I can study deeper and understand more, but they are very stiff sometimes:/

yesterdays stuff,i'm studying anatomy from michelangeolo and photos, some sketches also, sorry for crappy photo quality.

Pyroclasm00,thanks for encouragement, Im now going to do more color studies so more still life paintings will come,

more anatomy this time, trying memorize muscle placement and how they look like.My way to do this is to draw from book one drawing, analyze , and then try to draw it from memory few times. Then i correct mistakes, copy from book proper drawing and then try to do it from memory again...repeat process..

    Cow Digital Paints

Witek- stuff is looking good. Seem to be steadily improving. I noticed that most of your digital paintings get to the same level of developement and then just seem to stop. I'm not sure if this is intentional but you should try to push some of them to being more polished, even if you don't want to do more polished work and want to keep it quick and emotional it is always good to go out of your comfort zone every once and a bit. So far the one pushed the farthest, in my opinion, is the digital fighter at the bottom of post #16.

All is looking good, keep it up. What is the topic for CHOW?

Hey man , good to see plenty of studies going on here.

Keep studying that anatomy, study poses and draw people walking about outside....try to understand the distribution of weight...the placement of feet is very important for this.

I hope your student exchange goes well, i recently did one myself to Paris. Goodluck!

i spent a lot of time on this and effect is...not satisfying.
i aim for painting enviro as a whole using general shapes and not getting into details-but it seems so difficult for me to capture colors shapes and everything right. i rtying to put more details but it only result in messing a piece and spending a lot of time on it.
anybody knows any tutorials and/or advices about making enviroments?

    cheers
