Total Newbie Need help

I am total newbie at drawing, I have always been fascinated with drawing since I was young (since I was 9-8 years to be exact) my uncle is an artist, I tried drawing from that age but me being impatient I gave up. I compared what I drew with my uncle's work, what a stupid mistake. Anyway I just turned 19yrs old last week and I read something about the 10 000 hours rule to master a craft so I decided why not learn drawing now, I got 50 yrs on this planet.

Look at my Drawing loool its rubbish I know, so I want to know where do I start, what do I do

Well, you can start by drawing those shapes again but in a different angles, practice shading as well to give depth to the forms/shapes.
Get that done, and hopefully people more knowledgeable than me will give you feedback, but as for now get down to the basics.

By the way, get a pencil.

where do i learn shading, any books for a total newbie

Maybe set up and draw a still life. You gotta hone your eye. Also don't ever expect to truly master drawing. There will always be something to learn, but I am sure with hard work, dedication, and a desire to learn, you can get to the level you wish to see yourself at. And make sure you make plenty of mistakes along the way!

Just keep drawing, I dont think you're drawing enough at the moment. Don't doodle, try to draw something like the head and understand why it looks that way. It will take at least a few hundred drawings for your drawings to look solid. Commit to understanding what you're drawing and don't get bogged down with what you should do, for the moment just do and hone your eye like Phoenix says. Maybe attend a life drawing class if there is one close by, look at your drawings and ask yourself if it looks like the thing you drew, if not find out why and you will improve quickly.

Take a look at this guys tutorials http://www.youtube.com/user/matthew39arch, he talks about measuring with angles which is something which has helped me out a lot with honing my eye. Talking about things like how the outer rim of your eye may point to your eye lobe etc, its a good way to draw.
